Start with the burden, not the brand
Most people start with "what should I call it?" Sit with God first. What has He already put on you? Who is it for? A name that comes from that can carry your future prosperity.
4 prompts, written outFree naming worksheet
You've been asking God if you should start. He already went ahead of you and made the path. Step into the business that He has already prepared for you.
01 / You've been asking
God already prepared the work. The name you put on it is for your future prosperity. On the truck. On the invoice. On the sign. Every time someone asks what you do.
That is not a Tuesday-night domain grab. Sit with Him until you can say the name with a clear heart. It has to carry the future He is preparing for you.
You are not inventing a life. God already went ahead and made a way. The name is how you step onto it out loud.
This worksheet is forty-five minutes of sitting with Him over the name. It will not invent one for you. You write fifty, then cut to one you can say with a clear heart.
02 / The 7 steps
Most people start with "what should I call it?" Sit with God first. What has He already put on you? Who is it for? A name that comes from that can carry your future prosperity.
4 prompts, written outNo names yet. Ten minutes, thirty words, nothing crossed out. Write what God keeps bringing back, even if it feels too obvious or too personal. Half of them will be useless. You still need them.
10 minutes, 30 boxesThere are five kinds of business name, and most people only know one. That's how you end up with "Prairie Excellence Solutions Inc." Read all five. Circle two you can walk with Him in.
Plus the faith-name talkWrite fifty. Ten isn't enough, and most people stop around ten. Keep going. Somewhere around thirty-five, something will surprise you. Sit with it. Ask Him if that's the one.
15 minutes, 50 linesTake your top ten through all six. Most will die here. That's the work. The registry test saves people thousands they'd otherwise find out about in year three.
6 filters, 5 survivors"Do you like this name?" teaches you nothing. People are being kind. Ask what they think the business does, and listen to what they get wrong. Then take the three back to God.
3 names, 5 real customersTruck lettering. Signage. Uniforms. Invoices. A year of redirects. The Google review history you spent three years earning, gone. Changing a name later runs into the thousands, and none of it grows the work.
Write it on the line03 / The pages
US Letter. Print it. Work it with a pen, with God, not on a screen. The lines are wide on purpose.
There's room for all fifty because ten isn't enough, and the sheet shouldn't let you pretend it is.
Descriptive, evocative, founder, invented, metaphor. The honest trade-offs of each, including which one is usually wrong for a first business.
The field is packed. Agape, Genesis, Cornerstone, Ebenezer, Selah. Being the fourth one in your region is a practical problem, not a spiritual one.
Say it out loud. Phone. Google. Domain. Registry. Ten-year. The registry step is the one people skip, and the one that costs the most when they do.
One wide rule at the end that says "My business is called ______." That's the yes, written down.
04 / Walk with Him

You keep hearing the same thing when you pray: start. Build the shop. Serve your neighbours. That isn't you talking yourself into a business. That's God, and He's already been ahead of you.
You are one with Him in this. You don't have to invent the way. You look at the path He's already made, and you take the next step. The name is part of that step. It's how you say yes out loud, with a clear conscience before God and in front of people.
Work all seven steps. If you land on something you can carry, go. If you stall at step 4, or you've got three names and no way to choose, go back to what He showed you in step 1. Pray over the three. Ask Him which one belongs on the path He's already walking.
Free. Print it tonight.
God already went ahead of you. Name the work like it has to live on a truck. A name you commit to today beats a perfect one you're still circling 6 months from now. Leave your email and the worksheet is yours.
One email with the PDF. That's it.
